Hisham Hatab retains the presidency of the Egyptian Olympic Committee

The Egyptian Olympic Committee elections resulted in Hisham Hatab retaining the position of president by acclamation, after obtaining 28 votes out of the 28 votes that participated in the ordinary general assembly that was held today at the headquarters of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.

Today, Saturday, the media center of the Egyptian Olympic Committee stated that Alaa Gabr had won the position of first vice president by acclamation after obtaining 28 out of 28 votes, and the position of vice president was won by acclamation, engineer Yasser Idris after obtaining the same share.

In the position of Secretary-General, Engineer Sherif El-Erian won by acclamation by obtaining 28 votes out of 28 votes, and in the position of Assistant Secretary-General, Eng. Muhammad Abdul-Muttalib won by acclamation by obtaining 28 votes, and in the position of Treasurer, Dr. Abdulaziz Ghoneim won by acclamation by obtaining 28 votes.

He added: "In the vote on the membership of the board of directors, the votes were 27 valid votes, and one vote invalid. The result was the victory of Abdel Moneim Al-Husseini with 27 votes, Dr. Al-Basel Abdullah with 26 votes, Moataz Ashour with 27 votes, Sherif Kamal with 27 votes, Sherif Al-Qamati with 27 votes, Major General Ayman Shweita with 25 votes and Taymour. Abu al-Khair received 26 votes, Muhammad Abdul-Maqsoud 24 votes, while Hassan al-Arousi received 7 votes.

He explained: "The trio was Hisham Misbah, Asim Al-Saadani and Brigadier General Hazem Hosni, and they announced their withdrawal today from running in the elections for the position of membership before the start of the activities of the General Assembly for the elections."

He continued, "The board of directors of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, after his election, includes Representative Aya Madani, head of the Egyptian Olympic Players Committee at the Egyptian Olympic Committee and a member of the Olympic Players Committee at the International Olympic Committee."
