The first half was an even battle.
Önnered looked to go to the break with a narrow lead but a penalty goal from Skånela's Simon Lindberg in the closing seconds wrote the halftime figures to 17-17.
In the second half, Skånela was able to get a two-goal lead on a couple of occasions but did not manage to manage the advantage.
Instead, Önnered turned and connected an increasingly tight grip on the match.
With two minutes left, Önnered had gone away with seven goals and the uphill became too big for Skånela.
Led by top scorer Christoffer Brännberger, with his eight hits, Önnered eventually won 36-29 and will play in the handball league next season as well.
