The Executive Director of the Egyptian Football Association, Walid Al-Attar, told “On Time Sports 1” channel: “We have not received anything from the International Federation’s Disciplinary Committee explaining the date of the decision on our complaint about the Egypt-Senegal meeting, and we have been communicating with the Confederation since the first day we submitted the complaint, but The permanent response is that this match belongs to his international counterpart and that CAF has no power over it."

He explained: "Hani Abu Raida (a member of the executive offices of the African and International Federations) is a great value for Egypt in the International Federation. We met in Qatar and there was a dialogue between us about the match and its events, and certainly anyone who can help will do so."

Al-Attar talked about the steps of the Egyptian Federation if the disciplinary committee within FIFA decided not to repeat the match, and said: “If the decision was negative, the opposite of what we want, we will appeal it to the Sports Court.”

The Executive Director of the Egyptian Football Association stressed: "There is no specific time to decide on the decision, but as the Football Association said before, we are doing everything for our right until we get it."

It is noteworthy that the original time in Cairo and Dakar ended with the same result 1-0, and the two teams tied and resorted to penalty kicks, which smiled at the Senegalese.
