Ingesson made his first stay in the cross-country national team 2007-2010, and has also been a personal trainer for several Swedish skiers - with Charlotte Kalla as the most famous.
But now he has decided not to extend his contract.
- It has not been an easy decision.
I have thought for a long time but finally ended up going back to my job as a police officer where I was on leave, he says on the Swedish Ski Association's website, where he further explains that it will be emotional to end his assignment:
- It will of course be difficult to leave, but I feel very satisfied with what I have done for and with the national team.
