The Japan national football team has announced that they will play against Paraguay in one of the four strengthening games scheduled for June.

The Japan national team is planning four strengthening games in Japan from June 2nd to 14th as part of the strengthening for the World Cup to be held in November.



The Japan Football Association has been adjusting their opponents, but on the first card of the period, they announced that they will play against Paraguay in South America for the match on June 2nd at Sapporo Dome.



Paraguay was eliminated in the South American qualifying round of the World Cup Qatar tournament and did not participate in this tournament.



Paraguay is 50th, while Japan is 23rd in the world ranking.



The match record so far is Japan's 4 wins, 2 losses and 4 draws, which is the first match since the warm-up match held in September 2019.
