Barcelona had massive crowd support from a record number of 91,648 spectators in the first Champions League semi-final against Wolfsburg.

The atmosphere was not worsened by the team getting the lead goal after only two minutes of play.

Goal scorer Aitana Bonmati was assisted by Swedish star Fridolina Rolfö.

A defensive miss by the German club then paved the way for Caroline Graham Hansen's 2-0 just minutes later.

3-0 and 4-0 then came after just over half an hour of play.

In the second half, Barcelona slowed down a bit.

But the dominance was still great.

Despite having a free kick in a decent position 72 minutes in, Jill Roord tried a variation that brought the ball through to the other end of the penalty area.

However, it did not help much for the guests.

After a late penalty by Barca captain Alexia Putellas, her second goal of the match, the final score was written to a crushing 5-1.

Wolfsburg's uphill in the return on April 30 is thus large.

The second Swede of the match, Rebecka Blomqvist, was substituted in the 76th minute.

She was replaced shortly afterwards, it is unclear at this time why.

Barcelona had the previous audience record from the quarter-finals with 91,153 spectators.
