The Jiu-Jitsu Federation and the Red Crescent cooperate to distribute Ramadan meals

The Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, distributed fasting meals in Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi, as part of the Authority's Ramadan initiatives within the country during the holy month.

The initiative witnessed the participation of a number of federation officials, led by Mohamed Al Dhaheri, vice president of the federation, as well as a group of national team players, clubs and academies.

Al Dhaheri affirms that volunteer work represents a well-established and rooted culture in the UAE society, and translates the vision of the rational leadership in the humanitarian aspect, noting that such initiatives are not alien to the people of the UAE, the homeland of tolerance and coexistence.

He added that the cooperation with the Red Crescent Authority coincides with Zayed Humanitarian Day, which enshrines the approach of giving, and enhances the UAE's position as one of the best donor countries to provide assistance to all peoples and countries of the world in various continents.
