In the past year, we have heard a lot about how increased gang crime has had a negative effect on youth sports. Clubs that do not dare to hold training sessions or even shut down completely. In Farsta, they have a different strategy - to compete with the gangs through a strong community. - We have around 800 kids in this association. Almost everyone who is out banging and fighting has little brothers or little sisters who are in this association, says Farsta FF's chairman Geir Stakset.
SVT's documentary series "Sports' heaven and hell" sheds light on the problems that both those who play sports and those who lead sports are faced with.
Gang crime does not only affect sports in vulnerable areas.
