Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Company, which has produced a large number of Japanese national team athletes in the gymnastics of the Olympic Games, has found out from interviews with related parties that it will withdraw from the gymnastics business this year.

The Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Club, which was established in 1974, won five gold medals at three Olympic Games and was taught by Mitsuo Tsukahara and his wife Chieko, who devised a new technique called "Tsukahara Somersault" with two somersaults and one twist. So, we have produced many Olympic athletes.

In the men's group of the Athens Olympics, Mr. Tsukahara's son Naoya won the gold medal, and in the women's event of the London Olympics, Koko Tsurumi won the prize for the first time in 28 years as a Japanese player.

In addition, Kohei Uchimura, who won the individual all-around championship at the Olympic Games, was also enrolled in high school.

However, no representative player was selected for last year's Tokyo tournament.

According to the people concerned, Asahi Mutual Life will withdraw from the gymnastics business this year.

Currently, it has served as a saucer for athletes studying abroad, and there are about 750 people enrolled, including a classroom that teaches children.
