AIK took the lead on penalties in the first half after Nabil Bahoui was stamped in the penalty area, which created major protests from the Varberg players.

However, for deaf referee ears and Sebastian Larsson put 1-0 from eleven meters in front of the home crowd.

Varberg goalkeeper Fredrik Andersson in the right place with his arm, but led to the ball getting a push up into the net.

During the half-time break, Varberg captain Jon Birkfeldt was upset:

- We are not allowed to do anything and they are allowed to do everything possible.

The penalty ... I have a very hard time seeing that we would get such a penalty away against AIK.

But that's how it has been in recent years, it's just driving, he says in Discovery's broadcast and adds:

- We start talking about soft penalties here and there, if this is not a soft penalty I do not know what.

The result lasted throughout the match.

An additional joy for AIK was that Bilal Hussein was back in play after injury, when he was substituted in the 71st minute of the match.
