The number of “Pro League Cup” matches varied in the past seasons, according to the amendments to the competition system, and the start came in the first two seasons 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 with 41 matches, compared to 63 matches in the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons, to drop to 55 games season 2012-2013, the competition settled on 45 matches starting from the 2013-2014 season, until 2016-2017, and reduced again to 43 in the 2017-2018 season, compared to 49 games in the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons, and 47 games in the current season 2021- 2022.
