The Swedish Championship finals in basketball start on Tuesday.

Reigning champion Luleå, who has won seven of eight golds since 2014, will face Norrköping, who are playing their first final in eight years.

The last time the teams met in the final was in 2014 where Luleå beat Norrköping 3-0.

"They are not faultless anywhere"

Norrköping's Matilda Åhlberg, who meets her old club, is looking forward to the final and tells NT that Luleå is an obvious favorite.

- They are most successful in their high and aggressive defensive game.

There we have a key to solve.

For us, it is important to know who is doing what on the pitch, get them to do what is inconvenient.

We have a good plan for how to deal with them, now it's important to manage it out there.

We have done a good "personal scouting".

And they have also lost matches, they are not faultless anywhere, she says.

Luleå's Allis Nyström, who has won seven Swedish Championship gold medals, will once again try to lead his team to a title.

But she emphasizes that the match series will be tough.

- These are the matches you long for the whole season, if it were not for them I probably would not have been doing this, so it's fun that it's finally time.

Now it's just trying to come up with that last little thing, she tells NSD and continues:

- It will be needed.

They have a good team and I think it will be tough.

Just like in the previous finals.

The final series is broadcast on SVT, the first match will be played tonight at 6.30 pm on SVT2.
