Final revision of the draft FIFA regulations

The Board of Directors of the Emirates Football Association, in its meeting held on April 7, approved the amendments approved by the Committee to Revise the Regulations of the Federation, "the regulations governing the application of the statute", where the committee completed the amendments to them after a series of continuous meetings.


The bylaws revision committee had reviewed the best experiences and practices of the continental and national federations in this regard, to ensure that the regulations were produced in the best possible way to keep pace with the latest amendments and updates taking place in the football game, organizationally and administratively.


Youssef Hussein Al-Sahlawi, Second Vice-President of the Federation, Chairman of the Committee, praised the efforts made by the members of the Committee since its formation, explaining that the Council decided to organize workshops for club representatives to discuss these amendments in preparation for presenting them in their final form to the Council again for approval and referral to the General Assembly for discussion and approval at its regular annual meeting. , which is held after the end of the sports season, where the General Secretariat addressed the member clubs of the federation to express their comments regarding these amendments.


It is worth noting that the amendments approved by the Board of Directors included the articles of association, the regulations for the status and transfers of players and the appendices they contain, in addition to the procedural regulations for the committees and chambers of the Discipline and Dispute Resolution Center, a regulation that was created for the first time.
