On the sporting level, everything is going well for Charles Leclerc, broad leader of the Formula 1 world championship before the fourth Grand Prix of the season, Sunday at Imola.
However, the Ferrari driver had a mishap on Monday in Viareggio, a seaside resort in Tuscany.
According to the Italian site Sport Mediaset, the Monegasque had a luxury watch stolen, a Richard Mille 67-02 for connoisseurs, personalized in the colors of his beloved Principality.
While he was with Andrea Ferrari, his personal trainer, Leclerc was approached by a man, under the pretext of taking a photo.
But the fake fan snatched the watch from his wrist.
The carabinieri were quickly contacted.
However, when they arrived, the thief had already fled.
Andrea Ferrari shared the misadventure in a story on Instagram, notably regretting the lack of lighting in the premises.
The criminal did not need light to realize the value of the watch.
According to Sport Mediaset, a similar model was sold at auction last year for two million euros.
