Färjestad decided late and extended the lead in the semifinal series against series winner Rögle to 2-0, in front of a jubilant home crowd.

But perhaps the most striking thing in the match occurred in the first minute of the third period, at the score 1-1.

Missed the puck with an open goal

Because after Rögle won back the puck in the offensive corner, Dennis Eveberg served Adam Tambellini an open goal, just a few meters from the goal line.

But instead of giving Rögle the lead with 2-1, Tambellini missed the puck completely.

Johansson scored 2-1

Tambellini's miss was very costly.

For Rögle never managed to score another goal.

Instead, Färjestad won 2-1, after Michael Lindqvist with two and a half minutes left to play, ran around the goal and passed behind to the hill Albert Johansson who with a rock hard shot pushed the puck past the obscured goalkeeper Christoffer Rifalk and into goal.

- Always fun to score in the semifinals, and when it became the winning goal, you can not do more than enjoy.

I guess it was mostly just to close my eyes and shoot.

I saw that there were a lot of people in front of goal, so it was nice that it went in, says Johansson to C More.

"Dominated"

The victory was, seen over 60 minutes, completely fair.

Färjestad was clearly better in the first two periods, especially in the first where it was basically a game against a goal.

- Even though it is 1-1 before the third, I think we dominated almost the entire match, says Albert Johansson.

In the third period, Rögle played, but did not manage to score more than one goal.
