Kalmar today took their second win in a row in the Allsvenskan.

The Smålanders defeated Degerfors at home with 2-0.

Team captain Oliver Berg ran around the defender early, got into the penalty area and placed 1-0 between the legs of goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman.

The Norwegian's second goal of the season.

- I get a pass (from David Olafsson) where they leave space in the back line, the defender is a bit too hot and I get a free pass to goal so it was nice, says Oliver Berg to Discovery +.

The forward Olafsson, an Icelander who was recruited from Ålesund before the season, then also scored his first goal in the Kalmar shirt.

Really nice too, with the left rock hard in the far cross.

Worst start since 1966

2-0 Kalmar who stands on six points in the Allsvenskan, while Degerfors still has zero.

And the club has not started an all-Swedish season since 1966, when Degerfors opened with four losses in a row.
