Three games can ruin a season.

Bayern Munich's ladies could by now have gone towards a league title while preparing for both the semi-finals of the Champions League and a domestic cup final.

Instead, it will not be a single title for the big team this season.

Corona smash

A badly injured Bayern - a corona outburst meant that only four substitutes were available - left the Champions League after losing in the quarter-finals against Paris Saint-Germain after extra time.

A few days later, it was also 0-6 in the league final against Wolfsburg, which probably meant that the battle for the league was also decided.

-It's so sick.

It's a week when we lost both the league and the Champions League, it's going so fast.

A season feels so long and it was decided in a week, said Bayern Munich's Swedish right-back Hanna Glas when she was to comment on the nightmare days this week.

And on Sunday it got even worse, when also the last chance for a trophy disappeared.

In the semi-final of the German Cup, Wolfsburg was again too difficult and the team won 3-1 away.

Roord won the match

Dutchman Jill Roord became the tongue in cheek for Wolfsburg through her two goals.

She put the first in the 19th minute when she turned around just outside the penalty area and scored 1-0.

Serbian Jovana Damnjanovic equalized on a penalty in the 50th minute, but just over ten minutes later Roord struck again.

Svenja Huth was responsible for the fine preparation and served Roord a free shooting position from close range, which the Dutchman managed well.

With ten minutes left to play, the match was punctured when Tabea Wassmuth wall-played into the penalty area via Svenja Huth, and pushed up 3-1 high in the far corner.

If Bayern Munich is in trouble, spring is all the more fun for Wolfsburg.

Unlike Bayern, Rebecka Blomqvist's gang - the 24-year-old Swede remained on the Wolfsburg bench in Sunday's match - has a cup final, a semi-final in the Champions League and a likely league title to look forward to.
