The home team Luleå got off to a flying start and also received a dividend early in the first period.

The experienced hill Sami Lepistö put 1-0 after a strange situation.

Frölunda's goalkeeper Matt Tomkins was sitting in his own goal after teammate Stefan Elliott had pushed Luleå's Jonas Berglund into Tomkins who fell over.

The case was videotaped but eventually approved.

Heavy start for Frölunda, but you had to get up.

Patrik Carlsson equalized and with only 15 seconds left of the first period, Theodor Niederbach made it 2-1.

Frölunda would also extend the lead further and after two played periods they led by two goals.

The third period came to be of the more chaotic kind.

Four minutes into the first period, Luleå's successful player Pontus Andreasson hit Frölunda's Ryan Lasch in the face with a tackle.

Lasch and Frölundalägret were really upset afterwards but Andreasson did not get a match penalty but had to sit in the penalty box for two minutes for interference.

Frölunda would, however, take advantage of the numerical superiority when Patrik Carlsson found his way across to Filip Johansson who splashed up 5-2.

Immediately after Frölunda's goal, a new situation arose.

Mats Rosseli Olsen put the club between the legs of Andreasson in connection with a technical whereupon the Luleå player lay down.

But after a video review, the judges decided to award the Frölunda player two minutes of suspension for slashing.

In the powerplay, Luleå was able to reduce but it was Frölunda who got to cheer in the end.

The guests won 6-3 and thus connect the grip in the semifinal series.

The next match is played in Gothenburg on Sunday.
