Eslöv's ladies were allowed to wear gold hats today.

In the second final match at home in Blomsterbergshallen, they followed up their 5-2 victory by winning even bigger.

5-1 against Halmstad where Filippa Bergand had the opportunity to decide.

Eslöv went up to 4-0 in matches after, among other things, two wins by 14-year-old Egyptian promise Hanna Goda's victory against national team player Stina Källberg.

Eslöv only needed to win one more single match to become champion, Charlotte Carey reduced to 4-1.

Then Filippa Bergand got five match balls against Erika Front - who saved them and two more.

But on the eighth, Front's forehand team was net out, and with tears in his eyes, Bergand was able to hug his teammates Nomin Baasan, Hanna Goda and the team's one Li Fen, who missed the final due to injury.

"Wanted to win for her sake"

- Of course it feels great.

This is what has been the goal all season.

Any team will be affected if their one is not included, but our one is the best player who has ever played in Sweden on the women's side.

I'm so fucking proud and happy for the whole team, I really wanted us to win for her sake and it feels really good that we did it, says Filippa Bergand.
