The Congolese authorities arrested Olivier Savary, the assistant referee in the refereeing team responsible for managing the match between Al-Ahly of Egypt and Raja of Morocco in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.

And Egyptian media quoted the Congolese "footrdc" website that referee Olivier Savary was arrested after insulting a judge in the Congo.

It is noteworthy that arbitration in the brown continent is witnessing wholesale criticism, and its mistakes have increased, even in the presence of the "mouse" video technology.

For his part, Al-Ahly club stated on its official website that a Congolese judge, Sami Mwamba, filed a complaint against Olivier Savary Kabini, and the latter was transferred to the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Jumbi Elba Court.

He continued, "It is possible that this legal tragedy will have repercussions on the rest of Safari's career. He may already miss the upcoming, scheduled in Cairo, for the African Champions League competitions."
