Björklöven won tonight with 3-1 at home against Modo, and now leads the semifinal series with 2-1.

Seen over 60 minutes, it was a fair victory, but it was a long way off and the decision will probably be discussed.

Expelled in offensive zone

It came after a kind of expulsion you do not often see on an ice hockey rink.

After 6.28 of the third period, the referee pointed to Modos Tanner Macmaster and showed him for "delay of the game".

When such an expulsion is handed out, it is almost always because a puck has been hit in the stands.

But not this time.

This time it was because Macmaster after a technical in the offensive zone went down and pulled away the puck with the glove, which the referee did not accept.

3-1 in open box

And when the game then resumed, with technology in Modo's zone, it took only six seconds before Björklöven's Olle Liss, who made his first match since injuring his hand in the first quarter final against Västerås, was 2-1 with a rock-hard direct shot.

- I think it takes on a "stick" a bit lucky.

But it is a goal and that is what counts, says Liss to C More.

The goal that then decided the match completely came with 1.38 left, when Sebastian Selin put 3-1 in the open box.

With only one second left to play, Modo reduced to 2-3.

"Sitting in the driver's seat"

Thus, Björklöven now leads the match series with 2-1.

Four victories are needed to go to the final, and have the chance for an SHL place.

- Nice that we could turn around at home and get another victory.

Now we are in the driver's seat, says Olle Liss.
