Tottenham Hotspur manager Son Heung-min's team in the English Premier League has tested positive for COVID-19, Reuters reported.

Reuters quoted a Tottenham spokesman as saying that "the manager of Conte tested positive for the coronavirus over the weekend and is practicing social distancing."

A spokesperson added: "We expect Conte, who has no symptoms, to return and sit on the bench for Saturday's game."

Tottenham will face Brighton & Hove Albion at 8:30 on the 16th.

The match against 10th-placed Brighton is a good opportunity for Tottenham, who are on a steep rise with four straight wins, to solidify their place in fourth place (57 points).

Even if Conte returns to the bench for this match as Tottenham hopes, it's a shame he won't be able to organize his own midweek training.

Son Heung-min's health is also of concern.

Coach Conte called Heung-Min Son, who exploded a hat-trick in the match against Aston Villa on the 10th, to the bench in the 33rd minute of the second half, hugging him and kissing him on the cheek.
