Suguru Osako, who won the 6th place in the Tokyo Olympics Men's Marathon, visited a high school in Okayama City on the 12th and told the students how to make their dreams come true.

Osako broke the Japanese record for the men's marathon twice and finished 6th at the Tokyo Olympics last year.

On the 12th, I visited a high school attached to Okayama Shoka University in Kita-ku, Okayama City, and gave a lecture to about 700 students at the gymnasium.

Osako said, "In order to achieve a big goal, it is important to set a small goal," What can I do today? "Even if you cannot achieve the goal in the process, if you can feel your growth. "It's good," he told me how he was prepared to make his dream come true.

After this, he moved to the classroom and was asked questions by about 80 members of the track and field club.

When asked, "How do you get over the hard times?", He answered, "I analyze the causes that I find difficult and improve little by little through trial and error."

A male student who is the captain of the track and field club said, "I want to set small daily goals and consciously challenge myself in both study and club activities. And I want to achieve the goal of participating in the national high school as a whole."
