Caroline Seger has played eight major championships for Sweden.

Her first European Championship was in 2005, since then it has been both World Cup and Olympic medals.

But this summer's European Championship finals in England will be something really special for the 37-year-old.

- To experience a championship this summer, which will be the biggest I will experience as an individual, is somewhere a fantastic thing to do, says Caroline Seger at the press conference before the World Cup qualifier match against Ireland.

This summer's European Championships will also be an audience party.

The final will be played at the classic Wembley, a final that sold out in an hour.

The Swedish team captain has played 228 international matches and there will be more.

- It's close now, there are not many months left.

I am very much looking forward to a championship this summer, she says to SVT Sport.

Peter Gerhardsson also believes that this summer's championship can reach a new level in terms of interest.

- We are on our way to probably the biggest championship in terms of audience and interest this summer, says Peter Gerhardsson to SVT Sport.

Sweden starts this summer's European Championship against the Netherlands on 9 July.
