The 46-year-old, who last week was back in his first major competition since the accident last year where he almost lost his leg, has already planned the next competition.

- I'm looking forward to St Andrews.

I will be there, he tells Sky Sports after finishing the fourth and final round at Augusta National on Sunday.

- It is something that is close to my heart.

I have won two Open competitions there, and it is the home of golf, Woods continues about the classic that will be decided July 10-17.

Just going to play the big competitions

But even if Woods is back on the golf course again and expects to reach a higher level than during the US Masters ("I have a lot to work on", he says), he will not compete as often as before.

- I will never play again according to a packed schedule again.

It will only be the big events, he tells the newspaper.

He has not yet decided whether he will play the next major, the PGA Tour in the Southern Hills, USA, in May.

- The endurance in the leg is not very good.

It's sore so to hell when I start a round, but then when it's heated it goes well and I get to some good beats.

Then the endurance ends and I hit some pretty ugly punches.

So it's one of the things we'll be working on and we'll see what the schedule looks like.
