The life of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, owner of English club Chelsea, was so upended that he had to ask for loans from his friends because he did not have the money due to the sanctions imposed on him after the Russian war on Ukraine.
The newspaper "SPORT" reported that the economic sanctions imposed on the Russian billionaire robbed him of everything, which made him so desperate that he had to ask for loans from his friends.
The Ukraine war caused the European Union and the United Kingdom to impose sanctions on wealthy Russians close to President Vladimir Putin, including Abramovich, who had all of his assets and properties estimated at billions of dollars in the United Kingdom and Europe frozen.
The newspaper said that the 55-year-old businessman lost practically half of his fortune because of his proximity to Putin, who made the decision to war, and most importantly, he lost cash.
She added that Abramovich tried to ask for money from some of his friends from the Hollywood producers, and from many of the big businessmen in North America, as is the case with the very wealthy Rothschilds, but it seems that he is lucky.
She indicated that he would soon have to get rid of his three planes and dozens of homes around the world, so that Abramovich could find money to support himself and pay his employees' salaries.
