Paris Saint-Germain handball is decidedly untouchable.

Even hung this Sunday in Cesson-Rennes, the capital club ended up winning (23-30) to sign a 23rd victory in 23 days of Starligue, the first division championship.

This is a new record for PSG, which already held the previous one.

Last year, the teammates of the Karabatic brothers had seen their series of consecutive victories stop at 22, and had given up against Nantes at home (24-25).

They had ended the season with a single loss, a draw and 27 wins.

Towards an eighth title of champion of France in a row

The Parisians, who secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League against the Germans of Kiel on Thursday by beating the Norwegians of Elverum, are getting closer and closer to an eighth consecutive title of champion of France.

With 46 points, the maximum possible, they are nine points ahead of Nantes, while there are only seven games left to play until the end of the season and therefore 14 points to distribute.

After the week of international break and the French team's two friendly matches against Spain, the PSG handball players will host Montpellier, 4th in the Starligue with 31 points, in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France at Coubertin.
