The Swedish women's national team is in Gothenburg ahead of Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Ireland.

With two days left until the match, Fridolina Rolfö, Filippa Angeldahl and Amanda Nildén have symptoms of illness and are forced to stand over today's training.

According to national team doctor Houman Ebrahimi, the trio, who remain at the player hotel, have tested negative for covid-19.

"We will now be able to follow their development day by day until the match on Tuesday," said Ebrahimi.

If Sweden takes at least one point against Ireland on Tuesday, they secure the ticket to the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
