Youth of Aqaba snatch victory from Al-Jazeera in the opening of the Jordanian League

The Aqaba youth team snatched an important victory over Al-Jazira team, in a match that brought the two teams together yesterday at Amman International Stadium, in the opening of the Jordan Professional Football League.

And scored for Shabab Aqaba, its player Faraj Eid in the 71st minute, in a match that witnessed competition and excitement throughout its course, especially from the side of Al-Jazira, whose players missed many opportunities in the last minutes of the match, and it was enough to leave him with a draw at least.

Today, Saturday, one match will be held for the opening round, at Al-Hassan Sports City Stadium in Irbid. The host team will gather Al-Hussein Irbid in front of the youth of Jordan, to be followed tomorrow by a single meeting in which Maan will meet in front of the newcomer to the professional league, Al-Sareeh team.

Shabab Al-Aqaba finished the league last season in eighth place with 25 points, three points behind Al-Jazira seventh, while the championship went to the Ramtha team, which will launch the defense of its title on Monday with Al-Faisaly meeting in the top of the first round matches.
