Dutch cyclist Feder in a coma after a serious collision

Dutch professional cyclist Milan Feder, colleague of Olympic champion Primoz Roglic of the Jumbo-Visma team, was in a medically induced coma after suffering a serious collision during the "Basque Tour" cycling race, yesterday.

This came, according to what was reported by the Spanish media today, Saturday, quoting the team and the hospital where Feder is staying.

Vader crashed on a cliff during the fifth stage of the race and smashed over a hurdle.

Spanish and Dutch media reported that Vader had suffered arterial injuries and underwent emergency surgery in a hospital near Bilbao.

The cyclist also sustained a broken collarbone and injuries to the shoulder, vertebrae, and others, according to what the hospital announced.
