Next week, on 13 and 14 April, the Swedish national hockey teams will meet Norway in doubles matches.

The matches are played in Stavanger.

- It will be fun to meet, we also travel together, says Tre Kronor's team manager Martin Lundby.

- It is otherwise only during the Olympics that we are in the same place at the same time.

Damkronorna's national team captain Ulf Lundberg has selected a young squad for the Norway matches.

The Women's World Cup will not be played until August-September.

Tre Kronor's national team captain Johan Garpenlöv, who has the World Cup closer to home in May, mixes old and young - with players from teams that have been eliminated in the SHL play-offs and the KHL.

“This squad has a nice mix between old and young, and it is especially fun to see 33-year-old Per Svensson make his national team debut after a really strong season with Timrå.

It feels fun to start the journey towards a World Cup that looks to have a fairly normal setup, something I look forward to ", says Garpenlöv in a press release.
