Hattrick and a goal pass.

Alexander Jeremejeff could not have had a better start in the Allsvenskan premiere.

But now comes the setback for the Gothenburg club.

The 28-year-old is ill and will miss Saturday's match against Degerfors, just like his colleague Leo Bengtsson.

The duo did not participate in the training on Friday.

Has shown symptoms

- We were happy that everyone was injury free and that it looked good.

We have a large squad to be able to handle this, at the same time there are two class players who are in great shape.

Alexander Jeremejeff, for example, scored three goals and one assist against AIK, says coach Per-Mathias Högmo to Göteborgs-Posten.

The trio Erik Friberg, Franklin Tebo and Tomas Totland have also been missing but are back and ready for the match on Saturday.

The coach believes that the team has taken the necessary measures to create an infectious environment.

The five players must have shown symptoms of flu or sore throat.

- We have taken the measures we can take, that you are careful, wash your hands and all that, but we are so close to each other in everyday life so you get it into the squad, it almost has to go its own way.

We've had doctors and everything to see what we can do, but that's it.
