Mansour bin Mohammed follows part of the Nad Al Sheba Tournament and the Gulf Paddle Tennis Championship

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, visited this evening the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, where he watched part of the competitions of the fifth day of the ninth edition of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament, the largest of its kind among the sports courses organized under the slogan "Capabilities do not Limits It" during the holy month of Ramadan each year, and it includes in its current session the matches of the first Gulf championship for the padel tennis teams, and volleyball competitions.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during the visit, during which he was accompanied by Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, President of the Emirates Paddle Tennis Federation, and Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, was keen to attend part of the championship competitions. His Highness the President of the Dubai Sports Council met a number of participants from the Gulf teams, where His Highness welcomed them. His Highness also met the athletes and officials of the teams participating in the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament and praised their efforts and performance during the competitions, stressing that everyone is a winner by being in this course and this distinguished sports gathering. Wishing good luck to all participants. 

His Highness the President of the Dubai Sports Council praised the efforts of the organizers of the sports tournament, which was launched strongly under the guidance and support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. Those goals, as it turned into an event awaited by everyone and achieves great benefits in terms of spreading and developing sports and promoting a culture of encouraging its practice among families and various segments of society. 


His Highness pointed out that the great participation in this session in its competitions, the number of participants reaching about 5,000 male and female athletes of different nationalities and within the various sports it includes, and the distinguished technical levels provided by the participants, are elements that confirm the success of the session in achieving its goals at all levels.  


His Highness said: "The Dubai Sports Council is working to continue the success of this session and add sports to the competition schedule, and we are pleased that this edition will witness eight different sports tournaments and a distinguished presence for athletes and the public, and we are pleased to see the atmosphere of happiness and joy on the faces of everyone, whether athletes or the public who occupy terraces".
