Tiger Woods practice played nine holes on the ancient American golf course east of Atlanta, Georgia, on Monday afternoon local time.

In addition to being followed by thousands of people in the crowd along the course, Woods played alongside veteran Fred Couples, 62, and world number seven Justin Thomas, 28.

- I hope that everything rolls on during Tuesday and Wednesday and I am sure that he points up on Thursday, says Couples, Masters winner 1992, according to The National and continues:

- It is not shocking because he is the best player ever.

If he can walk around here over 72 holes (four rounds), he will participate.

He's too good.

"Will be a late decision"

Tiger Woods, a 15-time major winner, most recently in the Masters 2019, has not played a major competition since he was involved in a serious car accident outside Los Angeles in February last year.

In recent days, he has been at Augusta National, where this year's first men's major begins on Thursday.

"I'm going to Augusta today to continue the preparations and to train.

It will be a late decision if I show up ", Tiger Woods wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

On Tuesday, the golf legend, who said he was close to having to amputate his right leg due to the car accident last year, is expected to hold a press conference.
