In November, SVT Sport reported that at Mark's National Sports High School in basketball, a violation occurred during the autumn that ended in a police report of assault, which Borås Tidning revealed even earlier.

The Swedish Basketball Association has now decided to move the training to Norrköping, something that SVT Sports basketball expert Nick Rajacic revealed on Twitter on Monday night.

"Well-crafted applications"

The decision, which Borås Tidning took note of, only briefly touches on the fact that the living environment has been a factor.

It states, among other things, that "they have received three well-worked-out applications to run a national sports high school during the coming three-year period and that Luleå and Norrköping best meet the sporting requirements," writes BT.

The students who currently attend Mark's riksidrottsgymnasiu, as well as those who have been admitted for the academic year 2022-23, will have to complete their education.
