The first round of the women's golf overseas major tournament this season was held in California, USA on the 3rd, and Hinako Shibuno increased her score by 6 to finish in 4th place with a total of 10 under.
Shibuno, who had been the sole leader after the second round, broke his score in the third round and started from 21st in the final round.
Shibuno increased his score as 3 consecutive birdies from the 2nd hole in the first half, and took 3 consecutive birdies from the 10th in the second half. I came in 4th place.
Nasa Hataoka increased her score by 5 in the final round, and with Yuka Saso, she finished 17th with a total of 5 under, and Ayaka Furue was 44th with a total of 1 under.
Jennifer Cupcho of the United States, who came out of the single lead by 6 strokes in the final round, dropped two scores, but kept the lead with a total of 14 under, and won the first American tour championship in overseas majors.
