The bow and arrow competitions, which will be held within the activities of the ninth edition of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament, organized by the Dubai Sports Council, will start today, and its competitions will continue until the 18th of this month, and include eight sports: volleyball, padel tennis, wheelchair basketball, running, and cycling. The participants in the bow and arrow competition will compete over two days in five categories: the compound bow category for men over 18 years old, the Olympic bow category for men over 18 years old, the Olympic bow category for youth from 14 to 17 years old, the Olympic bow category for women over 16 years old, and the bow category Compound for People of Determination.

A statement issued by the organizing committee said: “The rules of the International Shooting Federation will be applied in this tournament, as shooters in all categories launch one qualifying round consisting of 10 groups x 3 arrows each, and the participants begin to exit the quarter-finals, and a distance has been determined Shooting from a distance of 18 meters inside the covered hall, and shooters will shoot at three vertical target boards with international specifications (3 x 20), designed according to the international shooting rules for indoor competitions.

On the other hand, the first round of the paddling tennis competitions in the category of citizens and residents, which was held the day before yesterday, resulted in 32 players qualifying for the second round, comprising 16 duos. Delmar, Abdul Karim Al Arif and Farhan Hady beat Saud Al Arif and Sami Al Sayed, Salem Ali and Javier Garcia beat Mubarak Al Ketbi and Sigi Meos. The duo Roberto Rodriguez and Faris Al Janahi qualified at the expense of Ali Al Roumi and Cristobal Quevedo.
