Momoka Muraoka, who won three gold medals at the Beijing Paralympic Alpine Skiing, and Taiki Morii, who won two bronze medals, took part in the first race after the Paralympics at the tournament that started in Nagano Prefecture on the 4th.

Many Japanese national team players have participated in the Para-Alpine Skiing "Japan Cup" that started on the 4th in Nozawa Onsen Village, Nagano Prefecture, including Muraoka, who won three gold medals and one silver medal at the Beijing Paralympics.

Giant slalom was held on the 4th of the first day, and Muraoka, who won the Paralympic Games for the second time in a row in the women's sitting and sliding class, carved an accurate turn on speed from the first time and multiplied by a coefficient according to the obstacle. In the same time, he took the lead with a difference of 6 seconds or more to the 2nd place.

Muraoka also scored 1'59.89 in the total time of the two times with a stable slide, and won the championship with a big difference of 14 seconds or more to the second place in her specialty.

Muraoka said, "I had a hard time dealing with the rough snow on the snow after a long time, but I was able to skate happily. After all, I thought it was the most fun because the giant slalom was slipping."

Also, in the men's sitting and sliding class, Morii showed a smooth turn with almost no snow smoke, and won the championship with a total time of 1 minute 58 seconds 61 in the two times.

Morii said, "I think I can still fight, and there is a sense of crisis that I can't keep up. I want to prepare well and fight if I can fight in four years."

The tournament will be held until the 7th of this month.
