Foreign pitcher Sean Nolin of the KIA Tigers was substituted after being hit in a straight line.

Nolin was hit by Kim Hyun-soo's batted ball in the 3rd inning and collapsed in the home match against the LG Twins held at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju today (3rd).

Nolin, who faced Hyun-soo Kim, threw a strike straight from the ball count 0-ball-2 strike in a situation where there was no one-out runner in the early 3rd inning, where KIA was behind 2-0.

However, the batted ball hit by Kim Hyun-soo headed toward the pitcher, and Nolin tried to avoid it, but he accidentally hit his left elbow and collapsed.

An ambulance even came to the ground amid concerns about Nolin's injury from both teams dugout and from the stands.

But Nolin got up after a while and walked down the mound without getting into an ambulance.

Instead of Nolin, KIA urgently dispatched Yoon Joong-hyun to finish the inning by killing Chae Eun-seong.

After applying ice packs in the locker room, Nolin will be taken to a designated hospital for a detailed examination.
