The All Japan Judo Federation announced the men's representative members of the World Championship scheduled for October, and eight people including the gold medalist of the Tokyo Olympics and Hifumi Abe of the 66 kg class were selected.

On the 3rd, the All Japan Judo Federation held a strengthening committee after the All Japan Judo Federation held in Fukuoka City.



Then, considering the results of this tournament, we selected 8 men's representatives from the World Championships to be held in Uzbekistan in October in 6 of the 7 men's classes.

Naohisa Takato, who was highly evaluated for his achievements in the Tokyo Olympics gold medal, was selected for the ▽ 60 kg class, although he was runner-up in this tournament.



▽ For the 66 kg class, two players were selected: Abe, who was the gold medalist of the Tokyo Olympics and won this tournament, and Joshiro Maruyama, who has won the world championship for the second time in a row.



Soichi Hashimoto was selected for the 73 kg class


, Takanori Nagase and Sotaro Fujiwara were selected for the 81 kg class, and


Kosuke Mashiyama was selected for the 90 kg class.

Nine athletes can be dispatched to the World Championships in seven classes, and classes over 100 kg will be represented after the All Japan Championships on the 29th of this month.
