The wonderful opening ceremony began with an introductory video about the World Cup in Qatar and the Arab region, the hero of the World Cup mascot "Laib", who reviewed the history of football in Qatar and the Middle East.

Qatari heritage songs and live artistic paintings of the swing and lightness of the dhow and the appearance of Noakhta and Yazwa (ship owners and fishermen) on stage, were the most expressive images of the ancient Qatari heritage, which was represented in shipbuilding and pearl fishing.

The official ball for the Qatar World Cup, "Journey", also appeared in the ceremony, through a live visual show, in which a group of male and female players participated, in which they showed distinguished skills in taming the ball.

The ceremony included a live audio-visual performance of Al-Fujairi traditional music, composed by Faisal Al-Tamimi and Greg Johnson and starring Ali Al-Haddad, and included pictures of the most famous buildings in the world, including the Louvre Museum.

Before the draw ceremony, French coach Didier Deschamps, who led his country to win the title of the last edition in Russia 2018, appeared carrying the World Cup anthropomorphic, accompanied by the French child Joris, who gained great fame for carrying a World Cup anthropomorphic that he painted with his hand in the stands during the final match.
