AIK picked up as many points as Malmö last year - but the Swedish Championship gold was missed due to a worse goal difference.

The goal for the season is to once again be part of the top rankings.

The first nut to crack will be Häcken - away.

- The hope is that we will be very ready.

It is now that it starts and there is almost nothing to wait for, says AIK captain Sebastian Larsson to SVT Sport.

The midfielder, who feels in good shape, is looking forward to the start of the series.

- In summary, nice that the pre-season is over.

The body feels good and there is nothing to complain about.

It personally feels like you have got what you need here in the pre-season.

It should be fun to get started.

"Stronger and stronger ..."

Larsson's assistant team captain Alexander Milosevic has been injured during the pre-season.

Mittbacken made his first training match against Norrköping a couple of weeks ago and last Saturday he started in the 2-1 victory against Jönköping Södra.

- It's going alright.

It feels like I'm getting stronger and stronger all the time.

I do not feel completely one hundred percent, but you have to play matches to become one, Milosevic says to SVT Sport.

Milosevic welcomes the premiere.

- It'll be fun.

It's nice that it's finally starting.

I could say that it has been a long pre-season, but it has not been for me, because I have not been.

But I look forward to it and now it's about keeping the body fresh and making the best of the situation.
