Most observers agreed that the 2022 World Cup draw was balanced and did not result in the "group of death" that fans usually look forward to, but the results of the draw promise exciting matches and special dates, starting from November 21 in Qatar.

On Friday, attention turned to the Qatari capital, which organized the 2022 World Cup draw, and the participating teams got to know their competitors.

None of the eight groups won the title of "Group of Death", which is usually called groups that include strong teams and candidates to reach advanced roles in the tournament, and observers considered that the draw was balanced and opened the way for strong matches between the major teams, starting from the final price.

Messi and Ronaldo

Attention will be drawn in particular to the Argentine star Lionel Messi and his Portuguese rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, who may play the last World Cup in their careers given their advanced age.

Immediately after the announcement of the results of the draw and the program of matches, it became clear that the path of the two stars who captured the major trophies in the last decade may intersect in the 2022 World Cup final.

If Argentina and Portugal top their groups in the first round, and win the remaining matches, Ronaldo will have a date with Messi in the Qatar World Cup final, and is there anything better than that to end the international career of two of the best players in the history of football?

Suarez and Ghana

The Uruguay-Ghana match in the third round of Group H brings back special memories of striker Luis Suarez, and goes back to the 2010 World Cup when he tackled a ball that was heading towards the net in the last moments of extra time for the match.

Ghanaian Asamoah Gyan missed the penalty kick awarded by the referee after Suarez's shot, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw, and Uruguay later won it on penalties.

And the referee of that match declared the red card in the face of Suarez, which prevented him from participating in one match, and he missed the semi-final match, which ended in favor of the Netherlands 3-2.

After the results of the World Cup draw for Qatar appeared, the president of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okrako, said that the confrontation against Uruguay would be a "date for revenge" against Suarez and his companions.

America and Iran conflict

After more than 40 years of strained relations and months of faltering in reviving the nuclear deal, the United States and Iran are preparing for this year's World Cup clash after falling into Group B.

The coaches of the two teams avoided political conflicts, and said that they focus on the tournament and its ability to unite peoples.

"I think it's about football after all, and the best sign of friendship is through strong competition on the field and fair play, which is the foundation of the World Cup," America's coach Greg Berhalter said.

For his part, Iran coach Dragan Skocic said, "I only think about football and not about external matters. I hope you create good communication and a good relationship between people and this is what they expect from sports."

The last confrontation between the two teams was in the 1998 World Cup in France, and Iran won 2-1.

"I remember this match very well," Berhalter told reporters. "It was the first encounter against them and it got out of the political tension between the two countries and it was a way of saying on the field that we remain friends."

Friends matches

Away from the tension and the charged atmosphere, the lottery has drawn a number of players against their colleagues in the same club, and Croatian Luka Modric will be on a date with his Belgian colleague Eden Hazard, and Dutchman Virgil van Dijk will play against his Liverpool colleague Sadio Mane, who leads the Senegal national team.

In a different conflict, the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be a date for Poland's Robert Lewandowski to avenge the Argentine Messi, who deprived him of the Golden Ball award last year.

The two teams will meet in the third round of Group C.
