Daniil Medvedev, world No.2, will be absent from the circuit for "probably 1 to 2 months" to treat an injury, the Russian announced on Saturday, whose participation in Roland-Garros (May 22-June 5) now seems very uncertain.

“I have been playing for a few months with a slight hernia.

With my team, we decided to solve this problem with a small intervention.

I will probably be out for a month or two and I will work hard to be back on the courts quickly,” Medvedev tweeted.
