On Thursday, an aggressive Luleå won the first quarter-final meeting with a clear 5-1 - when Pontus Andreasson struck with a hat trick.

But on Saturday afternoon, Örebro equalized in the match series where it is the first to four victories that apply.

And this time it was instead the former Luleå player Emil Larsson who became the great hero in the extension - in a home team that changed quite a bit in the formations.

The framing was cool - and there were also real playoff feelings out on the ice.

"Completely different energy"

The thrilling event also began at a high and intense pace - but the first period remained goalless.

-We come up with a completely different energy and intensity compared to the previous match.

We are having a good period, are on and really trying to take the puck towards goal, Larsson told C More after the first period.

A little over a quarter into the second period, red-hot Pontus Andreasson burst the goal zero when he stepped into the castle and put the puck under the arm of goalkeeper Jhonas Enroth.

But just over four minutes into the third period, forward Robert Leino shaved in 1-1 with a backhand after fine preparation by Daniel Audette.

Brilliant goalkeeper game

Luleå then came out roughly strong in the extension against a really pushed back Örebro.

But Jhona's Enroth goalkeeping was brilliant throughout the fourth period when he countered 13 shots.

So 50 seconds into the fifth period, Emil Larsson stepped forward and sent in a decisive 2-1 next to the first post from a narrow angle.

- We take this win every day of the week, said the match hero.
