The Parisian players remained on the lawn for several minutes after the match, in front of the Auteuil stand, to commune with their supporters.

Joy, and no doubt a lot of relief after a match with a very undecided scenario and not necessarily to the advantage of PSG.

"They really wanted to do well," says their coach Didier Ollé-Nicolle, at the microphone of Europe 1. "Today was a real cup match where we went for a result. Somewhere, I think it bodes very well for the future."

The ultras present

Present, but not amnesic, as they recalled in a banner at the start of the match, the Parisian ultras never stopped giving voice to encourage their players.

Support appreciated by Captain Grace Geyoro.

"The atmosphere was exceptional," she says.

"We took a lot of pleasure in seeing the ultras, in seeing all the supporters who were there, present," she recalls.

"It was a little complicated at first, but gradually we got more intense. In the end, I think they brought us a lot tonight."

It now remains to wait to know the opponent of PSG in the semi-finals.

It will be either Juventus Turin or Olympique Lyonnais who face each other on Thursday evening.
