The International Football Association (FIFA) announced the end of the first sales phase of tickets for the 2022 World Cup matches in Qatar, after it witnessed the sale of more than 800,000 tickets to fans from around the world to attend the matches of the most prominent football event in the world.

After the period of allocating tickets by lottery, tickets were offered according to first-come-first-served purchase in a short sales period, and attracted more fans in the Arab world and the world.

The list of the top ten countries where residents topped the list of most buying tickets included Qatar, the United States of America, England, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, India, Brazil, Argentina and Saudi Arabia.

Single-match tickets and tickets for the opening and final matches were at the forefront of the most popular ticket products, although fans bought a good number of a series of tickets for a team, and a series of tickets for 4 stadiums, and the total number of sales reached 804,186 tickets after their owners secured their seats in Qatar stadiums late this year.

Fans who were not lucky in the first sales phase will have another opportunity to apply for the most popular tickets in the world during the upcoming sales period for allocating tickets using the lottery system, which will launch on (FIFA.com/tickets) on Tuesday, April 5th. At 12 noon Doha time.

After the majority of the teams participating in the tournament qualified, the expected final draw for the 2022 World Cup on Friday will determine the distribution of teams to the tournament groups, and fans will then be able to know where and when their favorite team plays, before applying for tickets for the next sales stage.
