Since his departure from the Girondins de Bordeaux last June, he was no longer talked about.

But Frédéric Longuepée is back on the front of the stage.

The former president of Marine et Blanc has just been appointed president of Paris La Défense Arena, the performance hall where the Racing 92 club plays in particular.

This appointment is the result of the departure of the deputy managing director of Racing 92 Patrick Serrière, and his replacement by Dominique Serieys, current president of the Nanterre enclosure.

Concerning Frédéric Longuépée, the president of Ciel et Blanc Jacky Lorenzetti praised "his knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry, his talent and his long operational experience" which are "tremendous assets to give new impetus to Paris La Défense arena”.

Arrived in 2018, left in 2021

Frédéric Longuépée arrived at the Girondins de Bordeaux in 2018 when the club was taken over by American investment funds, GACP and King Street.

He left the club a little less than a year ago when Gérard Lopez arrived.

An end to the adventure after months of conflict with Bordeaux supporters.

In the past, he was also the CEO of the French Tennis Federation (2002-2012) or deputy general manager in charge of commercial activities at PSG (2012-2018).
