Cameroon got their ticket to Qatar after a crazy match.

Rigobert Song's players dominated Algeria on Tuesday, March 29, during the return play-off in Blida (1-2 ap).

The Indomitable Lions qualified thanks to a goal from Karl Toko Ekambi scored in the very last seconds of extra time.

The start of the game is however dominated by Algeria.

The Fennecs rely on dazzling counterattacks and are the most dangerous in the first minutes, but the Cameroonian defense resists.

Six minutes later, Algeria are on the verge of equalizing.

Served by Islam Slimani at the far post, Youcef Belaïli narrowly misses his shot which ends up in the side netting.

The Fennecs accelerate before the break, but without managing to come back to score.

Returning from the locker room, the Greens present the same face.

In the 49th minute, they think they have finally unlocked their counter thanks to a goal from Slimani, but who is finally refused for an offside position.

Seven minutes later, launched into the box on a cross from Riyad Mahrez, Abdelkader Bedrane also proved dangerous and barely missed the target with a header.

Algeria was saved in the 68th minute by goalkeeper M'Bolhi who made a double save against two attempts by Léandre Tawamba and Martin Hongla.

At the end of the game, the Fennecs try to pack the game.

In the 83rd minute, the Cameroonian goalkeeper André Onana repels a shot from the left of Mahrez full axis well served by Slimani.

A goal in the very last seconds

Without a solution, the two teams are forced to play extra time.

Algeria think they have done the hardest in the 98th thanks to a goal from Slimani on a cross from Ahmed Touba, but this equalizer is finally refused for a handball.

Djamel Belmadi's players push and set fire in front of the Cameroonian cage, but without succeeding in concretizing.

In the 112th, André Onana repels a magnificent and powerful shot from Ismaël Bennacer.

Ahmed Touba thinks he delivered his team at the end of the second extension.

Entering the game twenty minutes earlier, the defender scored with a header from a corner kick taken by Rachid Ghezzal (118th minute), but Algeria's hopes were swept away a few minutes later.

Karl Toko Ekambi propels Cameroon to the World Cup.

As Collins Fai sends a cross towards the entrance to the area, Michael Ngadeu deflects with a header.

In ambush, the Olympique Lyonnais player pushes the ball into the back of the net (120th + 4).
