Charlotte Kalla was honored during her last competitions as an elite skier, at the Swedish Championships in Piteå.

During the unveiling, she also received money, which she has now chosen to donate to the parent club IFK Tärendö.

According to Maj-Lis Ejderlöf, the money was not something the association had expected.

- We were very surprised.

we had heard a bit about one contribution of 50,000 but then it became 100,000 so it became twice as much.

It is fantastic fun, we are of course very proud that Charlotte wants to give it to her mother association and of course over Charlotte and what she has done for the village and for so many others, she says.

And there is no doubt that Kalla has meant a lot to the club.

- It is clear that it is as if she put IFK Tärendö on the map, then it is the case that everyone feels an incredible pride.
